About Disease Porphyria and where vampire myths and folklores could have come from.

In the sunlight porphyrins can have flesh eating toxins that can make the face of people with the disease become disfigured and scary looking in to some people. People with Porphyria can end up with the noses and ears being eaten away. Lips also can seem to be eaten away and show a red burned look. Later the lips could even peel back from the gums and start to recede which would expose the teeth in a scary and unnatural way. This would maybe look to some people like the victims of vampire disease had fangs.

    Some doctors reports have shown people infected with the diseases became violent, aggressive and very irritable.
